I had my photoshoot for my Capsule Collection back on the term break holiday.I decided to create a theme for my collection which focusing on a more dark concept which can help to create a mood for my collection.

I was inspired by several makeup artist which did the makeup on the eyes to create a center focus to the collection.The focus was the thick Eyebrow and colourful eyeshadow

For the fourth look I decided to make dress to have a variety design for my capsule collection.I was focusing on the faces upside down which created a faces with side profile and tried to combine see through fabric with more stable fabric to create a different effect.

For the look 3 I am focusing on the detail on the outer vest and combine it with some top and pants that is more simple to focus on the face on the outerwear

The process of sewing the faces

I had to change the pattern of the vest skirt to be flared because after I sew the vest didn't turn out very nice and looked very awkward.

The second look I was doing a top with sash and pants with faces on top of it.The process of this design was simple and  focusing on 3d embroidery and accessories. I have a little hard times to sew the faces because of the round corner of mouth and nose which was challenging to sew.

The first set of my capsule collection was totally different from the one I made for my Toile.The reason I changed the design because I thought the design didn't match well with the other design.

The hard part of doing the first look was the sewing part.I was using organza for the base of my top and it was very challenging for me to sew it nicely but I think i did it quite well,and I spent a lot of times doing the stone embellishment which take me several hours to finish some part only but I'm quite happy with the finishing product.

The first monday in May was a story that told us about documentary video of metropolitan museum of arts exhibition China:Through the looking glass which was run by vogue's editor Anna Wintour.Basically the movie show us how the museum start off with nothing and became a show that people wow about.From this movie I learnt so much from how they think of art,fashion and star and combine it to become something  spectacular.

 Highlight of the show was the chinese bathrobe from chinese fashion designer Guo Pei which was worn by Rihanna on the red carpet of the show which capture many people attention.

On 11 September 2016 I went to watched Design Film Festival in Shaw Lido Singapore.There are 2 film that I went to watch on that day. The First movie was called Yohji Yamamoto Dressmaker,the film basically included Yohji's life documantation.I think the film is nice because I got to learn several things from yohji from how he think about embracing his own style and inspired many people through his artwork.
